Hej Ulrik, welcome back to the Melodifestivalen! what do you remember the most from last year?
I remember the spring, the summer, autumn and winter which all have been amazing much because of Melodifestivalen. I've had a great summer tour and I've had the privilege to work with multiple talanted writers. I'll remember it all.

What did you learn from last year experience?
Be prepared. Don't get sick. Enjoy every second.
You are going to participate in the last semifinal, how do you feel right now?
Right now I'm as calm as a cucumber!
How would you describe yourself as an artist?
A pondering, harmonica playing sing&song-writer with blond hair and an old mans hat.
How did the collaboration with Peter Boström and Thomas G:son started?
I was working with Peter on another track when he sent me a demo of Tell The World I'm Here. I really liked it and just changed a couple of lines to make it fit me better.

Tell the world i'm here is the title of your song, what can you tell me about it? whats the story behind the song?
For me, it's about growing up. Leaving what's old and safe and saying hello to the future and all the possibilities.
Describe your song with 4 words
Powerful, forward looking (I know that is really two words, but in swedish it's one so it count's as one!), inspired, grand.

What can you tell me about the performance? what can we expect?
I might be flying, dancing and playing with fire. Or I'll just focus on singing. Either way, I can assure you, I'll do my absolute best!
Do you know what you are going to wear for the semifinal?
Not exactly. I have a pretty strong idea, but I've just not found the right clothes yet. But it will probably involve some sort of blazer, but not too dressed.

Give me the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word:
Fangirling: Crying girl at a concert
Japan: Crying Japanese girl at a concert (since I was already thinking of crying girls at concerts) eller bara : Japanese girls (lite tråkigt dock)
Dancing: A couple dancing waltz or something like that
Lilla MF: My green winter hat.
Eurovision: Loreen
Harmonica: Bob Dylan
Training: Carrot
What can you tell me about Rooftop?
I started writing my second album this spring, and I've really had a great time writing it. I've learned so much from the other writers but I also think I've kind of found my own way of writing.
Even though there are many more writers involved in Rooftop than my first album, this feels much more me. I'm very proud and happy about how it turned out, and my only hope is that you are too!
Is there anything you want to say to close the interview?
Thanks to all of you fans out there, whether you live in Sweden, US or Japan. If it weren't for you, I'd be nothing. Love!
