Belgium 2019: Eliot

This is "Wake up", the song that will represent Belgium this year:
I heard the song yesterday and thought it was just okay but today Im feeling a bit more positive about it, it is a nice song and I hope Eliot performs it well.

Lithuania 2019: Jurijus

Photo: E. Blaževič/LRT
This is the act that will represent Lithuania in Tel Aviv: Jurijus with "Run with the lions"
Hmmm I don't dislike it but that doesn't mean that I like it, I just find it okay, not something to be excited about.

Hungary 2019: Joci Pápai

Photo: MTI/Mohai Balázs
The winner of A Dal 2019 is JOCI PÁPAI with Az én apám:
I liked a lot of songs in A Dal this year but most of them didn't wow me on stage and that is where Joci shines the most, he is such an honest artist, you can see he put his heart on everything he does and I'm glad to have him back in Eurovision this year!

Shout out to:
Szekér Gergő

Vavra Bence

AWS
Fuck! That was a brilliant performance! They deserved a much better Eurovision result!

Denmark 2019: Leonora

Photo: Henning Bagger
The winner of the 2019 DMGP is Leonora with the song "Love is forever" :
When I heard the DMGP 2019 songs this was the only one I liked, I'm so glad it worked on stage! This is an adorable little song and I hope Leonora could relax a bit more and just have fun during the performance cause that is what is going to sell the song the best.

Melodifestivalen 2019 - Deltävling 4: Jag måste ha dig i mitt liv

NU KÖR VI!

1.  Stormbringer - Pagan Fury
This was pretty nice, maybe a bit too ESC 2006/2008 but I liked it.

2.  Känner dig - Anton Hagman
There was nothing bad about this, maybe it was a bit low key for the contest but I wouldn't skip this song if it comes up on a playlist or the radio.

3. Torn - Lisa Ajax
I think this is the best ballad in mello this year but there is something missing on stage, she is a good performer but I feel like this sober, minimalistic approach doesn't suit her.

4. I Do - Arvingarna
The choreo/staging was a bit silly but I really liked it! What a fun, catchy song! Well done, guys!

5. On My Own - Bishara
A mello star is born and I think we have a winner. I do not like the song but he is fucking talented and sold it so well. I wish he could come back next year with a better track cause I'm sure he can do better than this.

6. Kärleken finns kvar - Ann-Louise Hanson
She is a legend and this performance was lovely.

7. Too Late For Love - John Lundvik
Yes! Last year John showed us what a talented singer he was and this year he brought a good song and a motherfucking gospel choir with him so I gotta say I'm very happy to see him back in the final. Go Lundvik!

Germany 2019: S!sters

Photo: NDR
The winner of Unser Lied für Israel is the song "Sister" by S!sters (They are not sisters though):
I don't know what happened last night but this song winning was something I was not expecting, actually I am lying cause this act had such a big "I bet this will end up winning" energy. I just watched their performance again and I guess they won the international juries cause they were one of the acts that didn't fuck it up (Good job girls!) but still there were better songs in the selection and this choice is kinda boring.

Shout Out to:
Aly Ryan

Lilly Among Clouds
Let me be clear, while these two songs were my favorites, I kinda understand why they failed, both of them were very interesting acts but their staging could have been so much better.

Romania 2019: Ester Peony

Here is the song that will represent Romania this year: On a Sunday by Ester Peony.
I didn't expect this song to win but I'm glad it did cause it is a nice one. I'm not sure about the staging though but they have time to prepare something better.

Latvia 2019: Carousel

The winner of Supernova 2019 is Carousel with That night:
I feel like I should love this but for some reason I dont, she is a good performer and the camera work is stunning but the song is just okay.

Croatia 2019: Roko Blažević

Here is the song that won DORA 2019 and will represent Croatia in Israel, "The dream" by Roko Blažević:
This won cause they did well with the cheesefest they sent in 2017 so I blame all the juries that voted for it. Roko is talented but the song and his wings are a big no for me.

Slovenia 2019: Zala Kralj & Gašper Šantl

The song that will represent Slovenia in Tel Aviv is called "Sebi" by Zala Kralj & Gašper Šantl:
I don't think this is a competitive song but there is something very special about it. They created a cosmic atmosphere and that plus their kinda frail, innocent presence is gold and if they can recreate the same chill vibe on the ESC stage I could see them doing well.

Estonia 2019: Victor Crone

Photo: Iza Boëthius
The winner of Eesti Laul 2019 is Victor Crone with the song Storm:
Eesti Laul was xtra basic this year and it kinda shows on the winner, I mean it isn't bad but it's just not interesting.

Melodifestivalen 2019 - Deltävling 3: Låt skiten brinna

NU KÖR VI!

1. Somebody Wants - The Lovers Of Valdaro
There was nothing wrong with this act, I liked the song and the performance was slick.

2. Habibi - Dolly Style
Ermm...nope.

3.  Låt skiten brinna - Martin Stenmarck
This was my favorite song from this semifinal and while I think Martin did a strong performance, I wish the staging was not so empty.

4. Victorious - Lina Hedlund
I love Lina and she looked amazing but I think she can do so much better, maybe she was too nervous but this performance left me a bit cold, the choreo didn't flow naturally, it looked too stiff and her vocals were off in some parts. Hopefully she will release her schlager DIVA queen in the final.

5. Om om och om igen - Omar Rudberg
Omar is a fierce performer and the song is very catchy, I really don't get his result but whatever, he should be proud of himself and I can't wait to get more music from him.

6. Who I Am - Rebecka Karlsson
This song was too sugary for me and the staging was very dark for such an uplifting number.

7. Norrsken - Jon Henrik Fjällgren
Jon is adorable and he has such a beautiful aura but I'm not a fan of this song.

6. Omar Rudberg
5. Dolly Style

Italy 2019: Mahmood

The winner of Sanremo 69 is...MAHMOOD and he will represent Italy is Eurovision 2019!
After the 1st night of Sanremo 69 I had 2 big favorites and Soldi was one of them, so I'm extremely happy about him being a dark horse (he was on the red zone the 1st night) and winning the contest. I love his voice and he has such a lay back adorable and kinda sexy presence on stage that made fell in love with him that day after his 1st performance. I don't know how this will do in May but Italy will be one of my biggest favorites of this year. (If you like Soldi go check out his EP cause it has very good songs)

Time to give some shout outs:
Irama
This one would have been my winner, I loved it right away and I don't understand how he wasn't in the top 5!

Ultimo
I didn't get this one when I heard it for the first time but it grew on me the next day and I love its lyrics.

Enrico Nigiotti
Another beautiful song!

Loredana Berté
LO RE DA NA! LO RE DA NA! LO RE DA NA!
What a queen! She have everything on stage and she deserved all those standing ovations she got!

Montenegro 2019: D moll

Here is the song that will represent Montenegro in Tel Aviv: Heaven
This is my first big NO of the year but I wish them all the best.

Melodifestivalen 2019 - Deltävling 2: My parents don't like it but don't care it's exciting

NU KÖR VI!

1. Army Of Us - Andreas Johnson
Solid entry from Andreas, Im glad he came back with a better song after his last place result in 2015.

2. I Do Me - Malou Prytz
The surprise of the night! I wouldnt say this song is final worthy but Malou did a pretty nice job and Im happy for her.

3. I Love It - Oscar Enestad
I feel kinda bad for Oscar cause he didnt deserve that last place but I get why it happened. The song was nice (Maybe I was expecting something better but it was okay), the performance looked good but I felt something was missing and I think it was that the whole act was just not competitive.

4. Leva livet - Jan Malmsjö
It was lovely seeing him on stage and I hope he had a good time.

5. Nakna i regnet - Vlad Reiser
He is not a good singer he is a charming performer and Im sure he had so much fun performing.

6. Hold You - Hanna Ferm & Liamoo
This was the best performance of the semi but that doesnt mean much. The song is alright but the chorus is weak. I think Hanna was the highlight of this act, I couldnt take my eyes off her and I think she should come back on her own and win mello.

7.Tempo - Margaret
Margaret doenst have the energy for this kind of numbers, it looked very awkward (P.S: Cool me down is still my number 1 Margaret ESC song).

THE RESULTS
7. Oscar Enestad
6. Jan Malmsjö
5. Margaret
