I liked a lot of songs in A Dal this year but most of them didn't wow me on stage and that is where Joci shines the most, he is such an honest artist, you can see he put his heart on everything he does and I'm glad to have him back in Eurovision this year!

I heard the song when it came out and I loved it right away but I didnt expect it to be a contender in A Dal till I watched what they did on stage, they left me on fire after their performance, I dont even know how to describe how I felt after it. THANK YOU HUNGARY FOR SENDING THIS MOTHERFUCKING GREAT SONG TO LISBON! This will definitely be one of my favorite entries of this year. GO AWS! GO HUNGARY!

You are one of the participants of A Dal 2018. How did it all begin? I wrote a song.
“Satellites” is the title of your song, what’s the story behind it? That song was inspired by my grandma. As it was written in the lyrics everybody has people in their life, who are next to them in good and bad, but we could lose this people. If we fill the space behind them with good memories we can live the future easier and happier.

What can we expect to see on stage for the performance? A simple stage view with two dancers and me.

What do you like about Eurovision? That's a good opportunity for unknown artists to show their country, their words, their thoughts and their feelings with a song.

The grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest was very special this year, I still cant believe that Portugal won both the Juries and the televoting but thats what happens when an entry is that magical. Im so happy for all the portuguese fans, they deserve this victory so much and I cannot wait to see what Portugal is going to prepare for next year.
Luisa and Salvador gave us another beautiful moment on stage, what a lovely way to close the show.

How would you describe yourself as an artist? I'm in love with Music, and I feel endless joy when getting on stage. Music is all about the soul for me. As an artist I would like to help and cure people with music.
You were the winner of A dal 2016 and you are going to represent Hungary in Eurovision. How did it all begin? We made a song that we figured could be good enough to show it to the jury. We did, and it seemed like they were impressed. Fortunately, the audience found it catchy and meaningful as well. I am the happiest man alive to be part of this team, and to represent our Home.
“Pioneer” is the title of your song, what’s the story behind it? It is about being original, strong, and mature enough to take responsibility for our decisions and its consequences. Every answer lies within ourselves.

Hello András! How are you? I feel strange. Part of me feels the exploding success of my song in the show, but another part just feels the same as if nothing had happened.
How would you describe yourself as an artist? Singer-songwriter who blends folk music with 60's roots rock exclusively with acoustic instruments.
You are one of the participants of A dal 2016. How did it all begin? It was a 'why not' situation. Though I had little hope in making it to the Top 30, I applied for it because of the challenge. I have pretty much experience in doing festival and club gigs, but never tried such a big TV show.
“Trouble in my mind” is the title of your song, what’s the story behind it? It came from a nightmare. My friends came to me and each of them said something bad about me. I woke up in the middle of the night and started taking notes about the experience as I always thought that dreams are the message of the subconscious - what you really think of yourself. The next morning I re-read the notes and thought it could be a song. I think it's quite important to face with all the troubles in our personalities, the first steps for a happier life.

How do you feel about the reaction of the people with your song? They make me very happy and give me strength.
Tell me about the performance, can we expect any change for the next one? We have just discussed it. There will be visual changes, quite brave ones.
Have you heard any of the other songs in the competition? Any favorite? Juli Horányi's 'Come Along' is a nice one for me. It's sad it didn't make it to the semi-finals.
What do you like about Eurovision? The challange, the different situations, working with great stage equipment.
What do you dislike about Eurovision? It seems to me that the voting is much more based on the relations of the countries than the quality of the songs.
