Söngvakeppnin 2015: Semifinal 1 - The results

The Icelandic selection this year is on fire! Here are the results from the 1st semifinal:

Eliminated songs:

Myrkrið hljótt - Erna Hrönn

I like Erna a lot and she looked gorgeous but there was something off in the performance and thats why it probably was my least fav act on this semifinal.

Augnablik - Stefanía Svavarsdóttir

Very nice song and performance but this is the typical Icelandic NF song (There is a song like this one every year) and I guess thats why the people didnt vote for it.

Þú leitar líka að mér - HINEMOA

This performance was so nice! They all really enjoyed those 3 minutes on stage and so did I cause they made me smile! Good job guys!

THE FINALISTS

Piltur og stúlka - Björn and friends

Nice performance and song! They knew how to work the stage cause they are good performers!

Í síðasta skipti - Friðrik Dór

I really like this song but I didnt like the performance, I hope to see something better in the final! 

Í kvöld - Elín Sif

WOW! Mesmerizing! My biggest favorite of the night! Beautiful song and lovely performance! I would love to see her winning! #TeamElín

The 2nd semifinal in Iceland was yesterday and here are my comments:


Stund með þér - Sylvía Erla Scheving

I kinda like the song but her vocalss were weak.

Skuggamynd - Klara Ósk Elíasdóttir

This was one of my favorite songs and i think the performance could have been better but it was ok.

Augnablik - Erna Hrönn

I cant believe this didnt qualify, this was the best of the whole selection but i dont know what happened to the Icelandic public. Erna is such a lovable girl and she did a fantastic performance. Bravo Erna!!

THE FINALISTS

Ég syng! - Unnur Eggertsdóttir

I dont love this song but she did a very entertaining girly performance, i liked it and  the tudududu part is so catchy 

Vinátta - Halli Reynis

This wasnt one of my favorites but i liked the simple and calm performance a lot.

Til þín - Jógvan og Stefanía

This was a great performance, they are such a talented singers and the song is good. Right now they are my biggest favorites for Iceland 2013.

Well this song wasnt my favorite, i think its a bit boring but i respect the reason the icelandic people voted for it and im sure they will be very proud of them in Eurovision. I dont know if this will be on the final, i dont know if it can win, i really wish them good luck and all the best in Germany.

Erna Hrönn Ólafsdóttir – Ástin mín eina

She has one of the most beautiful smile i've ever seen, she is so sweet and nice, im very proud of her, she gave us an AMAZING performance, perfect vocals, magical stage presence and she is so charismatic, all i can say is that she deserve a STANDING OVATION! Bravo Erna!!

Jóhanna Guðrún Jónsdóttir - Nótt

I think this was the best song for Iceland this year, i have idea why she didnt get in the top 2, but i really thing that everything happen for a reason, her award was the support and love of all the people around the world who wanted her to win, all i can say is that she is GREAT, this song is going to be one of my favorites of this year, her performance was absolutely stunning, a round of applause for Yohanna and i really hope to see her on Eurovision again.

Iceland was on my top 3 since 2008, i love This is my life, Is it true and Je ne sais quoi, unfortunately i guess this year Iceland is not going to be on my Favorites, but i wish them Good luck.

Today was the 1st semifinal in Iceland, 5 songs, 2 finalists and my favorite!!

Yes the lovely Erna Hrönn participated in this semifinal with a beautiful song and her performance was amazing

And she get into the final, YAYYY!

I also liked Pétur but he didnt get in the final :(
