Ever since we saw our next guest winning JESC 2015 we knew that one day she was going to step into the big stage of Eurovision and be the super star she was destined to be. We couldn't have her on that stage last year but she came back even stronger this year with one of the songs that made me excited from the moment I heard the 1st note, without further ado, here are Destiny's answers:

Before we start talking about 2021, can we go back to 2015? What do you remember the most from your JESC experience?

The friends I made who I’m still close to till this present day and all the Eurovision fans I met along the Jesc experience.

When we fans look back to Eurovision 2020 we get very emotional about it, how was it for you and what did you learn from it when it came to deciding to select a song for this year's contest?

It was a tough one since I was emotionally attached to my 2020 song All Of My Love. But thanks to my incredible team we’ve come up with an amazing one this year once again and I’m super excited for my performance.

"Je me casse” is the title of your song, what's the story behind if?

Women empowerment, being independent and achieving your goals!

Photo: Carlton Agius

Can you describe for us the day you recorded the song? And what was your reaction when you heard the final result for the first time?

It was a very busy day and I must admit it was a magical one too. I was surprised with what Me and my team managed to create.

How do you feel about the reaction your song has been getting from the fans?

I’m thankful that you amazing people are liking it and vibin to it in such a fantastic way.

What can we expect to see on stage this year's performance?

Something different than usual

What do you like about Eurovision?

Everything... it’s such a great opportunity for people who love music and gather together to listen to different type of song genres. And it’s all about diversity and being yourself.

What do you dislike about Eurovision?

I don’t hate anything about Eurovision. There are so much positives around the contest that I would never let a negative one outweigh them.

Tell me the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the word:

Connection: WiFi !

Turtle: animal

Scandal: something bad

Clouds: white circles

Applause: many people clapping and shouting

Is there anything you want to say to close the interview?

I would like to thank you all for supporting me throughout all these years. I’m very grateful for all of you. You inspire me to keep pushing and being a greater version of myself everyday love you all x

Thanks to Destiny for the interview!

Malta 2019: Michela

This is "Chameleon", the Maltese entry:
Beautiful visuals! The song is a bit generic but interesting at the same time, I think it will do well.

Malta 2018: Christabelle

Here is "Tabbo", the song that will represent Malta this year:
I dont mind this song even if the lyrics make no sense but I dont see it doing well right now, I think it needs a really good revamp to make it pop. I didnt watch any of the other performances (I heard the songs though, not a fan of this years Maltese NF) but I think Christabelle did a very decent job and Im sure she will work hard to make a great performance in May!

Malta 2017: Claudia Faniello

Here is the song that is going to represent Malta in Kiev: Breathlessly by Claudia Faniello (SHE IS FINALLY GOING TO ESC!)
She is a good singer and as a Eurovision fan I gotta say that Im happy for her but Im not feeling this song at all. Sorry!

Shout out to my fav song in the Maltese NF: So Simple by Crosswalk

Malta 2016: Walk on water

Photo: Kris Micallef
Goodbye "Chameleon"! Hello "Walk on water"! Here is the official video of the Maltese 2016 entry:
This is so much better than Chameleon! I think that song was too "Eurovision diva-ish" for 2016,  Im glad they got rid of it. Walk on water sounds like a "modern, radio hit" song, Im not sure if it suits Ira's style but I hope she performs it well. (I also hope one day we get to hear Molly Pettersson Hammar's version of it) Good luck Malta.

Malta 2016: Ira Losco

And the winner of the Maltese national final is...Ira Losco! (What a surprise!) Here is the winning song, Chameleon:
I really like her 2002 song but this is a pretty mediocre entry. Im very disappointed cause she is not a bad singer but to me this sounds like a 2006 song. I have another problem with this entry and is that she didnt even bother in doing a good stage performance like WTF? This is all you have to show?. I really hope she change the song cause she can do much better than this.

Malta 2015: AMBER!

And the 12 points goes to...Amber! Thats all we heard during the time of the results. The song "Warrior" got 72 points and that means its going to represent Malta in Austria next year.

Her performance in the final was really good! She had fire in her eyes and her vocal performance was better than in the semifinal. I really hope this gets a powerful revamp cause I want this to do well in may. Congratulations to Amber and her team (Elton Zarb & Muxu) Good luck Malta!

Now a little shout out to my other favorites:

Malta 2015: The Final - Running order

Tonight we will know who is going to represent Malta in Vienna. Here is the running order and my thoughts about the finalists:

01.Breakaway - Glen Vella
Nice performance from Glen!. The song is much better than "One life" but that doesnt mean its good.

02.12, Baker Street - Karen Debattista
Lovely song (That needs a good revamp) but I am bit disappointed cause the performance was kinda bland. She is gorgeous but I think she needs to feel the song and get more energy on stage.

03.Once In a While - Dominic
What I like the most about Dominic and his team is that they really enjoyed those 3min on stage!

04.Chasing a Dream - Trilogy
Great vocal performance!

05.Closed Doors - Chris Grech
I like his voice and I cant wait for him to get a winning song. (I really dont get his outfit.)

06.Love and Let Go - Ekklesia Sisters
I like their energy and enthusiasm on stage but the song is really bad.

07.Fandango - Jessika
This is so 2002-2004! I dont like anything about it!

08.It's Ok - Deborah C
Kinda cute, harmless song. (Awful dress)

09.Warrior - Amber
She definitely gave her all on stage. Her vocal performance was good (The 1st word of the chorus *Break* sounded a bit shouty but the rest was fine) and I like the song.

10.Beautiful to Me - L-Aħwa
I like them all but "Tomorrow" was better.

11.Still Here - Franklin
Nice song, wrong act. He is a good singer but I dont like the way he performs.

12.Rush - Christabelle
GUILTY PLEASURE! I loved this! The song is very catchy and she did a very nice performance! You go girl!

13.The one that you Love - Lawrence Gray
Good performance!

14.Something in the Way - Daniel Testa
Daniel has a lovely stage presence and he rocked the stage! Good job!

I have no idea about who is going to win but my favorites are: Amber, Daniel Testa, Chris Grech, Christabelle, Lawrance Gray and maybe Karen DeBattista. Good luck to everyone!
