Eurovision Song Contest 2011: Semifinal 2

I was very nervous before the semifinal cause there were some of my favorites but there's nothing more to say, Anke was great and lets start with the songs:

01.Bosnia & Herzegovina: Dino Merlin - Love in rewind

This song its good, and he is a great artist, i think i wanted more, to me his vocals were not the best and maybe he looked a bit nervous, its not a winner for me, top 10 maybe.

02.Austria: Nadine Beiler - The secret is love

The best female singer of this year without a doutb, she looked gorgeous and she did an amazing performance, i loved it, a huge round of applause and standing ovation for Nadine! BRAVO NADINE!! BRAVO AUSTRIA! She got a great spot in the final and i hope to see her in the top 10, GO AUSTRIA!

03.The Netherlands: 3JS - Never alone
Good song with a nice vocal performance but a very poor stage presence. It was boring.

04.Belgium: Witloof Bay - With love baby
They did a nice performance but the song wasnt good.

05.Slovakia: TWIINS - I'm still alive
They definitely looked amazing, but as i said they should participate in Miss Slovakia or try other year with a better song, the performance was ok.

06.Ukraine: Mika Newton - Angel
Welcome to the Eurovision SAND contest 2011. They should put the name of the sand artist instead of Mika, yesterday at the press conference there were no questions for Mika but the Sand artist. Mika can be Miss Eurovision 2011, her vocals were good and everything looked great.

07.Moldova: Zdob si zdub - So lucky


I dont like the song, but the performance was very good, he has a strong stage presence and i think this will be in top 10 of the final.

08.Sweden: Eric Saade - Popular
I dont know what can i say about this, i wonder why it got into the final. To me was not good, his vocals are bad and i dont know, i dont like this and i know it can get a good position, sadly. Its a Kempe song can this finish in the top 10? i hope no. I like Saade cause he works very hard for the things he wants but this is not good.

09.Cyprus: Christos Mylordos - San aggelos s'agapisa
He was the biggest surprise in the rehearsals but yesterday was meh, i think his stage presence is not good and maybe the camera work ruined the performance, it was nice but i wanted a great performance. It was obvious that it wasnt going to qualify.

10.Bulgaria: Poli Genova - Na inat

All i can say is Bravo Poli! good job. Its so sad that this song with that great performance didnt get in the final, she had a fantastic energy and she should be very proud of her performance. I will miss Bulgaria on the final, she deserved to be there.

11.F.Y.R of Macedonia: Vladko Ilievski - Rusinka
I dont like his voice but i kinda liked the song, the vocals of the backing vocals were very bad but we knew this one was out of the final since a long time ago.

12.Israel: Dana International - Ding dong

The DIVA came to the stage and i love it, her vocals were much better that we all expected and im very proud of her, she is DANA INTERNATIONAL the winner of 98 no matter what, i wanted her on the final so much, but all we can do is love her and sing Ding dong and Diva. Viva la Diva! Viva Dana International!.

13.Slovenia: Maja Keuc - No one

I really like the song but i dont like the performance and also i dont like the way she is or she show her self as a person, but it was an ok performance to me, i dont like the choreography, and i dont think this can be in the top 10.

14.Romania: Hotel FM - Change


Good song with an nice stage performance, David knows how to work with the cameras and his stage presence is strong. This was one of the best performances yesterday.

15.Estonia: Getter Jaani - Rockefeller street


I was waiting for a disaster but i get a great performance i think, she looked cute, i liked all her face expressions, her vocals were not perfect but they were good enough. I loved the camera work for this song and i think it can finnish in a nice position tomorrow.

16.Belarus: Anastasiya Vinnikova - I love Belarus
I like the song but unfortunately she cant sing, i like the energy of the song but it sounded very bad.

17.Latvia: Musiqq - Angel in disguise


I cant believe this didnt qualify, it was nice song with a very good performance, the guys did their job very well and they should be happy and proud cause their performance was good.

18.Denmark: A Friend in London - New tomorrow


I love them and they are HOT, good song, great performance i dont know if the ball worked like in the DMGP but it was a very good performance. I wish them all the best for tomorrow and i think they deserve to be in the top 10, so good luck to Denmark!.

19.Ireland: Jedward - Lipstick


Here they come, here they come and i was so excited and nervous, i was hoping for a great performance and they did it!. They dont need to break glasses or to have LED screens, all they need is to be JEDWARD their energy is enough to fill the stage. Their outfit was great, the background is wonderful, the song is the best and they gave us their best so we all should give a big round of applause for John and Edward and all the team behind them cause they are working very hard and i really wish them the best for tomorrow, i want them on the top 5, GO IRELAND; GO LIPSTICK! GO JEDWARD!!.

I have to say that i really hated the moment of the results because it was so fast and messy, i wanted to feel more tension and i wanted to listen Anke singing the finalists like in the rehearsals:

Eurovision Song Contest 2011: Pre-Semifinal 2

Tonight is the 2nd Semifinal and im ready for my predictions and wishes, but first lets see how many finalists i got with my predictions of the semifinal 1:

Prediction: 7/10 - I got Turkey, Albania and Armenia instead of Serbia, Lithuania and Armenia

What i wanted: 7/8 - With the list of my favorites i just got wrong Albania.

Now this are the countries that i think will go to the final:

This is a very hard semifinal and i really dont know whats going to happen. Now lets see the countries that i want in the final:

1.Ireland

Fabulous song, great energy, and i love John and Edward! My number 1 in this semi, GO JEDWARD!!

2.Denmark

Anthemic song with a fantastic band and huge balls, LOVE THEM!

3.Austria

The best female singer of this year and she looks stunning and the song is magical.

4.Bosnia & Herzegovina

Great song with an amazing performance, i think they are already in the final.

5.Cyprus

The biggest surprise in the rehearsals, i hope he can do a great show tonight and get into the final.

6.Israel

Viva la DIVA!, i wish her all the best tonight.

7.Bulgaria

She is great and really hope to see her on saturday, good luck Bulgaria!

8.Romania

Good song with an ok performance, i think this can get be around 6 and 11.

9.Slovenia

This song is very strong, but im not sure about the performance, we will see soon.

10.Estonia

Her song is great but i dont know, i didnt get in the mood of falling in love with this.

10.Moldova

I dont like this song but i think the performance after all the balads is going to be great.

And big maybe with:

Sweden

Well i like him a lot, but the song is a big meh.

Eurovision 2011: Rehearsals - Semifinal 2 and Big 5

Yesterday 5 countries from the 2nd semifinal did their 2nd rehearsal and the big 5 got into the stage for the first time, lets watch and comment:

Much better, but i still thinking the song is bad.

09.Cyprus


Im loving this, i really hope they get into the final, also Christos is looking HOT!

I love Dana and im still thinking this can be great on the night of the semifinal and if you like her, you should watch her press conference here.

Now its time to watch the finalists, i didnt make a post with my opinion of the big 5 before the rehearsals but i'll make a ranking:

The biggest favorite, the stage looks so magical and his vocals were amazing also he is absolutely cute. I loved the song since the 1 time i listened, i dont know if France is going to win but i'll give them a big round of applause. 5/5

12.Italy


He is so talented and the song is great, i think the juries are going to love this, but im not sure if the audience will vote for it, the performance sounded good but it looked boring. 3/5

14.United Kingdom


There are a lot of people saying that this is going to win and i can imagine that, i think they will get points from all the countries because they are Blue and their song is not bad but i really dont want this to win, i love them cause they are HOT HOT HOT but WTF are those fugly suits, their stage presence is good, their vocals were ok, but i think (hope) they are not going to win but if they do, get naked guys!. 3/5

16.Germany


Lena is back, i love her, last year she was my favorite and i was very happy when she won, the song of this year is good but i wasnt sure if this song was for the contest, well when i watched the rehearsal my first thought was WOW THIS IS GREAT, and i cant believe it but this can be in the top 5 or win again, she looked beautiful and her charisma still there, BRAVO LENA!! 5/5

22.Spain

I like the song but i dont like the performance, i can see she hate the song in her facial expressions, the choreography in some parts is very bad, im sorry for Spain, i still can see this doing well but i dont know, to me its bottom 5. 2/5

Eurovision 2011: Semifinal 2 Rehearsals (2nd Day)

4th day of rehearsals is over and we have seen all the performances of the 2 semifinals, lets comment the 2nd part of the seminal 2:

10.Bulgaria


Good surprise here, i think this is very good, i like her look and her stage presence, we have a fighter here and we will see whats going to happen, the only thing i kinda dislike its she going to catwalk, its too long and there is no time for it. All i can say its good luck to Poli. 4/5

11.F.Y.R Macedonia


I like to listen this song and the performance was nice, honestly i have idea if they have chances, but i think there are better songs and performances so i will say see you next year to Macedonia. 3/5

12.Israel

As i said in every post of Israel, i love Dana, i think everybody should judge her chances in the dress rehearsal, to me the best thing of this rehearsal was that her vocals werent horrible, i really think that with the dress everything will look amazing but Dana its much better than the song and i can imagine Israel not getting into the final, i hope everything will ok and i wish her all the best. 3/5

13.Slovenia


Fantastic song with a great singer, her dress is a bit weird but i like it, i think for that song she has the perfect look, her attitude on stage was amazing, this is going to the final but i cant see a top 10 yet. 4/5

14.Romania


Good song with nice vocals and a simple performance, there were 2 things i didnt like the girls choreography its horrible, too much imo, and i dont like what David is wearing, i think he should take off that clothes and put a new one, of course i will like him more without clothes but i think something like in the national final could be better. 3.5/5

15.Estonia


Big favorite here but nothing happened to me with this performance, i dont feel her, she doesnt have a winner charisma and in the last part she sounded bad, now i dont want this to win but its good enough to qualify, i guess. 3.5/5

16.Belarus


I love Belarus, this song its so catchy and i kinda like the performance, her vocals are not great but it wasnt very bad, the fire in this song its AMAZING, i can see her in the final. 3.5/5

17.Latvia


They are good on stage but i will hate this on the final just like i hated Latvia 2005, 2008, to me there are better songs in this semifinal and i dont like this to go into the final, its boring for me, but im sure they will be on the final. 3/5

18.Denmark


I think this can win the whole thing without a doutb, great performance, the balls are amazing, its a good song and its a top 5 for sure, very good job Denmark and a round of applause to the guys cause they rocked the stage. 5/5

19.Ireland

I love them and i was a bit scared but im very happy with the performance but im very impressed with their vocals, i think this was very good, i want to see how it looks with the camera work and i cant wait to see what they are going to wear, there is other thing you guys should watch, their press conference was AMAZING, click here to watch part 1, part 2 and part 3 (Thanks to EscDaily for the videos) i really want them in the final, Go Jedward!! Here they come, here they come dam da dam da dam da dam! 5/5

What can i say? I LOVE DANA, good video and fabulous dresses, cant wait to watch her rehearsals.

Israel 2011: Ding dong new version

Just close your eyes and hear the bells of your soul...Im not sure if i prefer this version, maybe its because i listened the 1st one a lot of times, but i really love the song and i wish Dana all the best in may.

Israel 2011: I know where to go and im coming NOW - Dana International to Düsseldorf

Ding dong say no more, DANA IS BACK!!! im very happy, i just LOVE her and its great to see her again on Eurovision, i really really hope they revamp the song cause right now its too demo, well i cant say anything else, good luck to Dana International!
