Euroviisut 2011 - The Final

Last night Paradise Oskar won the Euroviisut 2011 and will represent Finland in Düsseldorf.

I definitely think that the best song won, he has an amazing charisma, knows how to move on stage and i think Finland will be proud of him. His performance in the final was good but i prefer his semifinal performance.

Also i have to say that i was really impressed when my 3 favorites get into the superfinal, so congratulations to Saara who showed that is an AMAZING singer, i hope to see her soon in Eurovision and Father Mckenzie for that great song.

Euroviisut 2011 - Semifinal 2

Today was the 2nd Semifinal of the Euroviisut, 3 of my favorites participated, fabulous hosts, bad dresses, rock stars and 3 finalists.

1.Soma Manuchar - Strong

1st think in my mind when the performance started was WTF is she wearing? what a horrible look, i didnt like anything about this, maybe her dancers, bad vocals, boring performance and very weak song, sorry.

2.Paradise Oskar - Da da dam

This is one of my favorites songs since november, what can i say? It was the best performance so far, he has charm, talent, and maybe he looked shy and a bit nervous but that made him look real, i love it and i cant believe how cute he is, comparations with Tom Dice, i think this song is much better that "Me and my guitar" and Axel Ehnström "Paradise Oskar" imo have more charm and something that makes you love him, i love him lol, lovely song, great performance and an amazing artists, da da dam da da dam...

3.Jimi Constantine - Party to party



It was the turn of the favorite, i like this song, its very catchy but i think the performance was too much, there were a lot of things, money, champagne, he talked a lot, i have to admit that i liked when he took his shirt off lol, he is hot but i guess it was too much "rock star" for Eurovision, i think he deserved to go to the finals because his song was good but maybe the finnish people didnt love his rock star performance. I kinda like it, but i  definitely dont want that kinda performance on esc, those performances suits more a live concert but not a contest.

4.Milana Misic - Sydämeni kaksi maata

Next artists and once again the same question in my mind: WTF is she wearing? it looks like a cheap halloween costume. One think i cant deny is that she is very talented, her vocals were good and she seems to be a very sweet woman, unfortunately i dont like the song, its like 3 or 4 songs in one, and it sounds very weird, the performance was good and i wish her good luck.

5.Father Mckenzie - Good enough

I like this song a lot, i think he was a bit nervous but his vocals were ok and overall it was a good performance, im not sure what he needs to improve, maybe he needs to be more confident next time but im very happy for them and i hope they can do it better in the final.

Is The Euroviisut 2011 Good Enough?

Today the songs that will compete in january in the Euroviisut 2011 were released, some surprises and i already have some favorites, even if i think there were better songs in the Euroviisut 2010.

Now i will comment the 5 songs i like the most

5.Jimi Constantine - Party to party

This one is nice, it sounds a bit like his other song Dirty Cinderella, "We can sleep when we're dead" can be the "Her daddy doesnt need to know", but its a cool song and if he is going to be shirtless it will be hot.

4.Tommi Soidinmäki - Seis!

I like the energy of this song, his voice is very strong but im not sure if this will work in eurovision.

3.Saara Aalto - Blessed with love

This is one of the online winners, they made a nice new version, it sounds beautiful, can she sing it perfectly live? i hope so.

2.Paradise Oskar - Da da dam

What a surprise, when i saw the title and with paradise oskar as a name of the artist i thought it was going to be a dance club song but it was a beautiful song, i love the lyrics and the da da dam da da dam, definitely i think this one should have the chance to go to Düsseldorf.

1.Father Mckenzie - Good enough

This was my favorite since the 1st time i listened, great melody, nice lyrics and if i have to choose one to go to Eurovision, it will be between Father Mckenzie and Paradise Oskar, i really want to see them live, lets wait that the finnish people choose the right one. This is good enough for me.

Euroviisut 2011 - Online competition results

On saturday 16, YLE announced the 3 songs that won the online competition, those songs will be taking part in the semifinals on January.

Here are the songs:

- Good enough - Father Mckenzie
- Blessed with love -Saara Aalto

Euroviisut 2011 Online Selection

The online selection of the Euroviisut 2011 is going to finish on friday, 3 songs from the 15 will be on the semifinals on January with the 12 invited artist.

This year wasnt the best for the people who is in charge of the Euroviisut, 12 nameless invited artist(I hope for good songs) and 15 not good enough songs from the open competition.

Yesterday Yle announced the currently top 5 and thanks good there are 2 of the songs i like the most:
