Im so excited with this list, its going to be an AMAZING year and with this information i think we can confirm the participation of Mattias Andréasson, Thomas Di Leva, Sonja Aldén, The Moniker, Love Generation, Andreas Johnson, Dead by April, Abalone Dots, Sean Banan, Ulrik Munther, Danny Saucedo, Molly Sandén, Lisa Miskovsky and Youngblood (a new boyband), those are the most obvious but there are rumors that confirm that Charlotte Perrelli, Timoteij, Afro-dite, Magnus Carlsson, Dynazty and Hanna Lindblad have their songs in the list.

As you all can see we will have a strong competition next year. Im very happy to see some names in the list and to see that 15 songs are in swedish. The announcement of the Artists is going to be on November 21 and 28, i guess it will be a press conference and  we will know the artist that are going to compete in the semifinals 1 and 2 on the first date and 3 and 4 on the last date.

Melodifestivalen 2012: Webjoker Winner - I Mina Drömmar

YAAAAAAAY! I dont even know what to say im soooooo HAPPY, normally i wait some days to post but i really need to do it now. We have a winner and it was announced 30 minutes ago. The song "I mina drömmar" (My BIGGEST Favorite) won! and  its going to compete in one of the 4 semifinals of the Melodifestivalen 2012 in February. I was listening the radio show but i dont know swedish so i have no idea what they said but im sure that Christer asked Maria BenHajji to be the singer of the song in the MF and she said YES, so thats another reason to be more happy. I really think this song is going to be one of the best of next year and it will have the best result of a webjoker song. Thanks to all the people who voted for the amazing song, a huge round of applause and a standing ovation to the I mina drömmar team (Thomas Cars, Nanna Sveinsdóttir and Maria BenHajji) cause they really deserve it.

Melodifestivalen 2012: Webjoker Final

The final of the Webjoker competition its on monday and i think its time to say my last comments before we know the results, this year from 540 songs only 32 competed and now we just have 8 songs and we will listen and see one of those songs in the Melodifestivalen 2012.

The Final this year is not going to be a  live TV show but a radio show and you have to vote, here is the running order:

1.I mina drömmar - Maria BenHajji
Låtskrivare: Nanna Bing och Thomas Cars, Uppsala
1 till nummer 72 211

2.Beautiful Love - David Nestander
Låtskrivare: Erik Kohl, Umeå
2 till nummer 72 211

3.Need To Know - Bowties
Låtskrivare: Erik Andergren och Erik Källner, Växjö
3 till nummer 72 211

4.Ingenting, ingen - Caroline Coquard
Låtskrivare: Caroline Coquard, Gävle
4 till nummer 72 211

5.Forever By Your Side - Trison
Låtskrivare: Tony Andersson och Martin Johansson (Trison), Skåne
5 till nummer 72 211

6.All Day All Night - Grand Slam
Låtskrivare: Andy Swaniz och Peter Andersson, Malmö
6 till nummer 72 211

7.A Heartbeat Away - Jonas Lundström (låtskrivare)
Låtskrivare: Jonas Lundström, Stockholm
7 till nummer 72 211

8.Marilyn Monroe - Never Alone
Låtskrivare: Christofer Erixon och Joakim Björnberg
8 till nummer 72 211

I've been saying my opinions of the songs since the 1st semifinal so you can have an idea of what i think about each one but now before my comments about the final, i want to see the winners of the webjoker competition from 2010 and 2011.

In 2009 the webjoker idea started and in my opinion a horrible song won, then SVT changed the singers but the composers who were the singers of the demo wanted to be part of the entry and they were the backing vocals of the band Highlights. The song in the MF stage wasnt that bad but it still was a horrible entry.

Highlights and MiST - Come and get me now

Melodifestivalen 2010 - Semifinal 2 - Result: 7th place - 10.978 votes

Then in 2010 we got a new rule in the Webjoker competition: a live tv final and 2 winners, a year with better results cause the 2 songs that won were good.

Jonas Matsson - On my own

Melodifestivalen 2011 - Semifinal 1 - Result: 7th place - 10.680 votes

Julia Alvgard - Better or worse

Melodifestivalen 2011 - Semifinal 4 - Result: 6th place - 18.867 votes

6th place its the best result that a webjoker song has got and i really think that if Julia was on Semifinal 3 she would have been in the top 5 at least. Now here we are again in this year Webjoker competition, a lot of fans think that its kinda imposible to get at least in andra chansen if you are a webjoker entry but there are 2 or 3 songs this year that i can see getting a great result next year.

From the 8 songs in this final there are 3 songs i kinda dislike "All day, all night", "Forever by your side" and "Ingenting, ingen", if the winner is one of those im going to be dissapointed.

Then there are 3 songs i like:
"Need to know" a song that sounds really nice.
"Beautiful love" has an anthemic chorus and i would love to listen it with female vocals even though with male vocals sound great.
"A heartbeat away" its also very strong but it needs a lot of things like a better ending.

And last but not least the 2 songs that i LOVE and i think can get a great result in the Melodifestivalen 2012:
Marilyn Monroe: Super catchy, modern and so strong, also i love the guys and it would be amazing if SVT let them as the singers.

I mina drömmar: What i can i say? did you guys read my comments of this song in the semifinal 1?. If it was my decision i would choose this one cause its the only one that made me feel something the first time i listened. Now im going to say that i really would love that SVT let Maria sing the song in the MF, im sure she would be one of the best singers next year. As i said the 1st time i wasnt expeting to find a great song in the Webjoker competition but here it is and i really wish all the best to the composers and Maria on Monday.

Now all we have to do is wait and see whats going to happen and of course if you are Swedish you have to vote, the lines will be open at 13 and will be close at 14 on monday so you have 1hour to vote. For information about the radio show enter in www.svt.se/melodifestivalen and remember VOTE for I mina drömmar and Marilyn Monroe, 1 till nummer 72 211 and 8 till nummer 72 211.

Melodifestivalen 2012: Webjoker Semifinal 4 - Results

The last semifinal was today and last 2 finalists are the songs Forever by your side and Need to know, next monday the 8 songs will compete and only 1 will get the oportunity to participate in the Melodifestivalen 2012. From this semi im very happy for the guys from Bowties even though i guess they were the ones that SVT selected, about Trison i dont know what to say, i just hope the people to vote for the right song next week.

Here are the results of the eliminated songs:
3.Higher
4.Believe
5.Letting Go
6.Not Over You
7.Box Of Love
8.Kärleken Ler
