Melodifestivalen 2016 - Deltävling 1: Don't worry, it's alright!

1. Bada nakna - Samir & Viktor

Im not a fan of them but the song is catchy and the performance was okay, still Im glad they didnt get in the final! (PS: Take your pants off next time!)

2. Mitt guld - Pernilla Andersson

Pernilla is a really good artist but I think her 2011 song "Desperados" was much better than this.

3. Ain’t No Good - Mimi Werner

This was such a pretty fun song. Her vocal performance could have been better but overall I liked her performance, I wouldnt mind to see her in Mello again with a different country sound.

4. Rik - Albin & Mattias

When I heard the song for the 1st time I didnt like it but after I watched the performance I have to say that their energy on stage made me like it, they were just 2 friends having fun and singing their song and I loved that.

6. Constellation Prize - Robin Bengtsson

This is a pretty good song with a nice performance but the whole package lacks of something, but Im not sure what it is. Thats the reason why I cant see this winning Mello but to be honest I wouldnt mind if that happens.

7. Don’t Worry - Ace Wilder

I think this song could be used as the definition of an earworm song. I will share my experience with it cause I've read a couple of people having the same reactions to it. The first time I heard the 30secs rehearsal clip I was kinda disappointed with it and thought "Maybe we are missing the best part of the chorus" but then I played it again and BOOM! The "Dont worry, it's alright" got stuck in my head. Then I heard the whole song and my first thought was "Meh! I dont like the (Its alright! Oh oh! dont worry) part :(" then I heard it a couple times and thought "Oh! its not that bad, its very catchy, I like it" so I feel like this song is making me crazy. I dont know what to think about her chances in Mello but I hope there are better songs in the competition this year, cause a part of me cant see this doing well in Eurovision (Doing well for Sweden = Top 6). (PS: BDN >>>>>>>>>>>>> Dont worry)

Melodifestivalen 2016 - Semifinal 1: The rehearsals

The Mello 2016 season started with some drama! Anna Book has been disqualified because her song was part of the Moldavian selection for Eurovision 2014.  I feel a bit sad for her but rules are rules!

Melodifestivalen 2011 - Andra Chansen: Oh my God, Oh my God I love The Moniker

The Andra Chansen of this year was one of the strongest, a lot of good songs and some of them really deserved to be on the final, there were problems with the voting numbers and that made me have some doutbs about the results but it doesnt matter cause we have our 2 finalist and the big final on Saturday.

My favorites were Jenny Silver, Loreen, The Moniker/Linda Pritchard, Pernilla Andersson.

The show was good but i didnt love it, the best show still being the 2nd semifinal.

All my love and a huge round of applause to my girls JENNY SILVER & LOREEN!

Jenny is on my top 3 of favorites this year, she is lovely and did an amazing job, i found a bit strange that the camera work failed on her performance, i know it can happen but i really think that it was weird, i dont know but i believe that she was the winner on that round, her performance was much better than the Love generation performance and their vocals were worse than in the semifinal, so that mess with the camera was to fucked up Jennys chances? still it didnt affected cause she gave her heart on stage and it was a nice performance and honestly she deserved the final on the 1st semifinal over that Swingfly, BRAVO to Jenny, Rickard, dancers, songwriters and all her team. Also a big Thanks to all the people who voted for this Schlager queen!


Loreen a huge surprise for me, AMAZING singer with a great look and with one of the best songs in this year MF, imo this was perfect for eurovision, its sad that its not in the final but im sure this song is going to be a hit. Bravo Loreen and all her team for making this amazing performance that unfortunately we are not going to see on esc but i really enjoyed on MF.


A good thing of the Melodifestivalen is that you get to know some artists that you didnt know so i have to say that im a new fan of Pernilla Andersson she is so real and lovely, you cant get tired of her music, i just LOVE her and i was so happy to see her reaction when she won the duel. Bravo Pernilla and thanks for you wonderful music.


Shirley's angels were cool and i hope to see Linda Pritchard again on MF someday.

Now lets talk about the finalists:

Sara Varga: She has improved a lot, so im happy for that, her song its very nice with meaningful lyrics im not sure if its the best one from the line up for eurovision but its not the worse, it will depend on the performance, good luck to her.


The Moniker: As i said before he was a wonderful surprise for me and im extremely happy for him, his performance its Fabulous and  i LOVE his song, i have my hopes on him for saturday and i think he has the right song for this years eurovision.

Melodifestivalen 2011 - Deltävling 1: A Melodifestivalen Orgasm with Jenny Silver

I have to admit something im a Melodifestivalen addict too, well i will write just some things cause i will post soon all my opinions about the semifinal 1 i have to watch it again without buffering. It was a very good semifinal but once again what the hell the swedish people vote, i woke up on saturday and then all the songs in the studio versions are online OMG!! you cant imagine how excited i was and i just listened something in your eyes like 10 times. Then the show started and the 1st thing in my mind was: what a spectacular stage, about the hosts i like Marie even if she made some mistakes the other one is just meh but lets go now with the performances im sorry if im rude or something cause i really respect all the artists but this is honestly what i think, imo the worse of the night was Dilba: i didnt listen her voice it was only the backing vocals track, i think she didnt sing it was all playback which is not good, the performance wasnt good, then Jonas Matsson: he is HOT, his song is nice but the 1st part of the performance was bad it looked ridiculous, Swingfly: who on earth voted for this? Swedish people deserve to get nul points in esc if they send this, its not a bad song but till globen? are they kidding me? it was a joke or something? cause it was the worse moment of the night, what a random finalist, well at least we know who will be on last place on the final.

Now the songs and performances that i really enjoyed:
Le Kid: they were so cool, super sweet and catchy song with a colorful performance and they finished 5th and Swingfly is on the final, c'mon SVT tell me that it was a joke lol, they are number 1 on Itunes Sweden right now so cogratulations to them.
Rasmus Viberg: he is so cute, i really love his look and voice, to me this was very good and deserved a andra chansen, i guess he should try next year because he is a very interesting artist.
Pernilla Andersson: What a lovely girl, im sooo happy for her, the song is good and the performance was perfect, i love it btw the stage looked so wow on her performance, a round of applause to Pernilla!!
Danny: He is Super HOT HOT HOT, it was a strong performance, he knows how to move and sing, the only thing i didnt like was the clothe he wore, maybe he should get naked next time lol, or at least shirtless

 Ok i love him, great song, amazing performance and hot body lol.

But even if i love Danny, to me the one that gets my heart is Jenny Silver!
I cant believe how lovely she is, i really want to give her a hug, i love her. When i listened and watched the rehearsal i knew that she was going to be my favorite, but when i listened the full i fell in love with it, the performance was the definition of FABULOUS, FANTASTIC, SCHLAGER and more, the lights, the camera work, the HOT dancers, the dress, the hair, the song, her beautiful face, EVERYTHING!! It was the best performance of the night, it was a Melodifestivalen orgasm, all i can say is TACK to Jenny, the songwrites, the dancers, the choreographer, Rickard and all the people who made this absolutely great performance, i love every single one of you guys! The Melodifestivalen fever started and im so excited cause i did an interview with the lovely Pernilla Andersson, she will be competing on the 1st semifinal on Lulea, i love her answers, she is so nice, im sure you will like her and her answers too so take a look at this interview:

First of all can you tell me something about yourself and your singing career? what kind of music do you like?

I'm a singer/songwriter with my roots in jazz & blues, my parents were jazzmusicians so I guess it came naturally at home. I've been working as an artist and musician behind other artists since I was 20. (I'm 35 today) I like a lot of music, mostly jazz, rock'n roll and singsongwriters such as Bob Dylan & Carole King.

Now you are one of the 32 participants in the Melodifestivalen 2011, this week you will be on Luleå, how do you feel right now? and how the idea of the Melodifestivalen came to you?
By my own choice I have isolated myself on the island on which I am living (The arkepelagos outside of Stockholm), mostly to avoid the "media-circus" around Melodifestivalen. I try to focus on my music, since I'm not so good at the competing thing (I tend to psych myself out) and I keep saying to myself : This is a great experience, take it easy! The Idea of Melodifestivalen came from people I'm working with, since I had a "leftover-song" that felt really good. We figured it would be a great "window" for the song and me.

Your song is "Desperados", what its the song about? did you write it for the Melodifestivalen? what situation made you write the song?
Desperados is a song about choosing your own path, break boundaries and be aware of how precious time is. You might aswell use it in a positive way instead of wating for better days ahead.

Can you tell me 3 words that describe the feeling of your song?
Uptempo minor song in swedish (to many words, sorry about that) :-)

How are you doing with the rehearsals?
Pretty good, since I'm going on tour I rehearse very much with the band and I love that, I'm really most comfortable in the studio, rehearsalroom and on the tourbus.

Tell me something about how the performance will be?
I will perform with my band and I have made great effort to make the stage as personal and "Pernilla-like" as possible.

What do you think about the other 7 artists competing in the semifinal?
I don't know all of them, but everyone was really nice at the pressconference. I've worked with Jenny Silver on a Svante Thuresson album I produced and she's a great singer and a lovely person. I also know Dilba a litte bit and the same goes for her, great woman and singer.
