Melodifestivalen 2012 - Andra Chansen: Top Cats & Thorsten Flinck to Globen

The Andra Chansen was on Saturday and we got our last 2 finalists.

Im going to comment first the eliminated songs:

Dynazty - The land of broken dreams

I really like them and they did a great job on stage but Top Cats were better.

Andreas Johnson - Lovelight

Im not a fan of Andreas but this year i started to like him a bit and his elimination in my opinion was unfair but thats how the game is, i knew that Timoteij were going to win this duel cause it was a catchy folk pop song on swedish but Andreas gave a nice performance, so well done Andreas!.

Lotta Engberh & Christer Sjögren - Dont let me down

Boo theres no video from the Andra chansen performance on youtube :( I loved the performance, they did a fantastic job, their chemestry on stage worked and it was much better than the semifinal performance.

Youngblood - Youngblood

They were a bit better than the dissaster from the semifinal but still i dont like the song, i wish all the best to the guys and good luck with their album.

Timoteij - Stormande hav

The biggest problem with this were Timoteij im sorry they are beautiful but theres something missing, i dont know,  maybe their stage presence is too weak, also its funny that they added the recorder backing vocals track to the whole song so they werent singing and when they sang it didnt sound well, i guess that someone on the final is going to do to the backing vocals track thing to sound better too, back to this, all i can say is i like the song but dont like Timoteij.

Sean Banan - Sean den forste Banan

I love Sean Banan, this was the most catchy song of this year, im sure he got a lot of votes, even more than top cats so its kinda sad that he is not in the final, but im glad that he is doing great on itunes and people is buying his album, Well done Sean den forste BANAAAAN!!

I like this a lot, their energy on stage is very cool and i really enjoyed the performance and im very happy for them. Congrats to the guys from Top Cats

Thorsten Flink och Revelationsorkestern - Jag reser mig igen

I was very scared with him on the 1st semifinal but the performance in Andra chansen was so good, i can see this doing very well with the televote, i think his performance was as good as the lyrics of the song and the lyrics are great, so im really impressed with this.

The final is getting close and im getting very excited and nervous at the same time, im trying to get ready for a disappointment but i still have hope so i'll make about the final soon and then we will have to wait.

The Andra chansen this year is kinda weak if we compare it with the one of last year but in other part we should be happy cause we got 8 good finalists in globen.

From the 1st half i kinda like everyone but if i have to select one from each duel it will be Top Cats and Andreas Johnson and from the 2nd half i just like Sean Banan. Good luck to everyone!

Melodifestivalen 2012 - Deltävling 4: A A A A Amazing? Nej

Semifinal number 4, the last 8 songs, the last 8 performances and the winner, here are my comments about the semifinal:

1. The Girl - Charlotte Perrelli

The girl irl irl, well i was waiting for something great because she said that the song was about herself and her divorce so i was expecting good lyrics but what did i get? this: "I want my car to take me home fast" or "Feel the p o o wer of dancing" but i still like the song and i cant stop listening the studio version, its really powerful. The performance in my opinion was a bit messy, she looked awkward doing the choreograpy, that screen was useless and she forgot the lyrics, it wasnt a surprise that she finished 5th as this kinda songs and performances are not the favorites to the Swedish people. I like Charlotte and i wish her the best with her new album.

2. Allting blir bra igen - OPA!

Hmm we all knew this song was just a filler. Their performance was nice.

3. Land of Broken Dreams - Dynazty

I liked this one, their energy is great, im not sure if i like the lead singer voice but i think he is hot, the pyro worked really well in the performance and i wish them good luck in Andra Chansen

4. Don't Let Me Down - Lotta Engberg och Christer Sjögren

This song is so meh, its doesnt have the schlager power, they did a good performance, they have a lot experience and they know what to do on stage but still this whole song and performance needs some salt and pepper salt and pepper salt and pepper pepper.

5. Goosebumps - Hanna Lindblad

Aww Hanna, Manipulated was one of my favorite songs/performance in the MF 2010, its good to see her again but i prefer her 2010 song, this song is nice but not strong enough for her, the choreography looked good but her vocals were bad :( , she is a good singer so i dont get why it was so bad.

6. Kyss mig - Axel Algmark

WHYYYY? He so deserved to be in the top 4!! He was a big surprise for me, i think he was the best of the semifinal 4, different, catchy, kinda crazy it was sooo good, i love him. He was robbed. I hope to see him again in Melodifestivalen. Bravo Axel!!! you did a fun, energetic and fantastic performance and Kyss mig  is on my top 5 of favorites songs this year.

7. Why Start A Fire - Lisa Miskovsky

She is so lovely, im very happy for her. This song is really good and she did a great job on stage, do i want her in Eurovision hmm im not sure but she is on my top 3 for the final. Theres nothing more to say, a great artists with a great song, did she won the semifinal? is she going to win the final? is she a new Bergendahl? we will see. Good luck to Lisa on the final!

8. Amazing - Danny Saucedo

Woooooo oooh wooo ooooo, i'll start saying that i like Danny and i like the song but i dont like the fact that we all know he is going to win since May last year. Last year he came 2nd with In the club a song that i think would have won in Düsseldorf and i prefer over Popular but not over Oh my God!, this year he rejected "Euphoria" and he was going to sing "To the sky"/"Shout it out" but then he changed his song for a new one "Amazing". The first thing i dont get about the whole thing that Danny brings this year is the lighting sport clothes why? i guess Björkman is trying to do the same of last year with Eric's glasses, the main thing of Danny this year its the lights effect not the song so in that point i prefer Dannys normal clothes like last year then wtf happened to his vocals? when i watched the 1min clip of the rehearsal i thought he sang bad just because it was a rehearsal but it was much worse in the semifinal, it was so bad, one of the worse vocal performances of this year and he still got a place in the final and he (is going to win) is a favorite to win, if he got into the final with that horrible performance, im sure he is going to do it better in the final so thats it, ladies and gentleman the winner of the Melodifestivalen 2012 Danny!! Can he win Eurovision with a a a a amazing? well i cant say that they wont vote for him because of his vocals cause they got 3rd place with Saade and Azerbaijan won last year but those light costumes and the whole performance reminds me a bit of Russia 2011 so i guess he can be the Alex Sparrow of this year. There still like 10% of hope in me that wants a great result in the final. I wish Danny the best for the final and lets wait to see whats going to happen.

He should take a nude pic if he wins at least that would make me a bit happy.

The last semifinal is getting closer and tomorrow we are going to listen to the winner of this year :´(. Now some pics from the rehearsals:

There is less hope in me right now :( so i hope i like the song that obviously is going to win from the snippet all i can say is that i think is not the best song of this year but i'll wait to listen the whole but im sure that i'll still thinking the same, from the 1min clips of the rehearsals i only liked Axel Algmark and i guess he is chanceless but i wish him all the best for the Semifinal. Swedish people vote for Melodi nummer 6!!
