Im disappointed with this new version of the song! Its weaker than the FIK version and the production of it is not great, right now i cant see it doing well in the semifinal! Good luck Hersi!

Albania 2014: HERSI MATMUJA!

The lovely and super talented Hersi Matmuja is the winner of the Festivali i Këngës 52 and she is going to represent Albania in Copenhagen next year! Here is her song "Zemërime i një nate":

Before the final i wasnt very excited about the entries and i didnt have any favorites but i think all the artists did a great job on stage last night and im very happy with the result! Hersi was definitely one of my favs, i really love her beautiful voice and her song was so interesting and i really liked it since the 1st time i heard it, i dont know if it could work on Eurovision cause its a very complicated song but we all know that Albania is good doing revamps so we should wait for the final version of the song. She is a great artist and im sure she will make Albania very proud!

Albania 2013: Identitet

I know im a bit late but i was waiting for the videos to be on youtube. Adrian Lulgjuraj and Bledar Sejko were the winners of the Festivali i Këngës 51 and they are going to represent Albania in Malmö:

I didnt expect this to win and even if i like it, it wasnt the best of the FIK this year. I liked the performance but i would change the start with Bledar singing, i dont think his voice works well with the song but i guess we are going to see something different in Eurovision cause it'll be a 3min version and theres no orchestra and thats kinda bad cause the orchestra was very important in this song, still i think Adrian is really good and i wish them good luck on may.

Now the act i liked the most:

Flaka Krelani - Labirinti ii zemres

Great song and singer, i love the key change in the last part.

Rezarta Smaja - Ti...

Classic FIK song that i always love and she did a great job.

Merland Kademi - Këtu fillon parajsa

One of the best songs that i keep thinking that it would have been perfect for a girl (Anjeza) still Merland was really good.

Hersi Matmuja - Kush ta dah kete emer

I love this a lot, very unusual song with a lovely singer.

Anjeza Shahini - Love 

Im very impressed with the public support Anjeza gets on FIK, they love her and she is amazing, she made me like the song!. Her performance was so good that i guess thats why i like the song now cause i've watched the performance a lot. Im very happy with her result! and i hope we can get her in eurovision again someday cause she is fantastic and i love her.

My winner:
Kejsi Tola - S'jemi me atje

The best (song/artist/performance) of this year, she was underrated by some of the juries but still i think it doesnt mind the result cause her performance and song were perfect just like her, she should be very proud of herself cause she is a great singer and she did a fabulous job on this year FIK, Bravo Kejsi!!

Albania 2013: Festivali I Këngës 51 - Semifinal 2

Yesterday was the 2nd semifinal of the FIK and its wasnt as good as the 1st semifinal but theres one thing we cant deny, Albanian artists are super talented.

Im going to start with a song that didnt qualify:
Marsela Çibukaj - Mijëra netë

I like this song and dont get why it didnt qualify.

Bojken Lako - Lotë? Jetë? Dashuri?

I dont get why he always get into the finals, i guess they respect him a lot but  i dont like his songs.

Valon Shehu - Nuk do të ndal 

This is a bit boring but not bad.

LNYX - Si ty askush 

This is very interesting, i kinda like it, still not for Eurovision.

Adrian Lulgjuraj & Bledar Sejko - Identiet 

This is great, strong song with an amazing performance.

Kelly - Ylli im polar

He is a fantastic singer with a good stage presence and a nice song.

Hersi Matmuja - Kush ta dha këtë emër

I like this a lot, she is a great singer and this song is special, one of my favorites of this years FIK.

Flaka Krelani - Tek ti në shpirt 

Strong vocal performance with a good song, i would like to see her with less make up but she did a nice job on stage.

Anjeza Shahini - Love

I love this girl, she is such a talented artist, she was one of my favorite in Eurovision 2004 and she was my favorite in the Festivali i Këngës 2009. This year i was excited when i saw her name on the participants list but i was a bit disappointed yesterday with the song cause she did a wondeful performance i think it was the best performance of the night but i have a lot doutbs with the song. I dont want her to fail in Eurovision cause she is fantastic but i can see her failing with this song that its not bad but its not better than The image of you. If she wins i hope they make a huge revamp of the song cause theres something interesting in it but they need to work and find it. I wish her all the best and lets wait to see whats going to happen.

So i think the winner will be Ardian Bujipi but my favorites are Kejsi Tola, Merland Kademi, Anjeza Shahini and Rezarta Smaja. Good luck to everyone and lets hope for a great Albanian entry for 2013.
