When I heard the 9 songs that took part of the DMGP radio semifinals, "Forget it all" was one of the songs I liked the most and I gotta say that after listening to the finalists, it still is one of my favorites, here are Kenny's answers:

What’s your strangest talent? Haha, ugh. This is tough. Is it strange that I can do a standing backlflip? Or wiggle my ears, maybe?
What is the strangest thing you have in your room? Haha, well. I have two lightsabers that I built from scratch. Pretty strange, I guess.
What are you really good at? Singing would be the obvious answer, but I'm also pretty good with kids. I have a bachelors degree in kindergarten teaching. 
What are you really bad at? Losing at boardgames. Or playstation games. Can't deal with it, just pisses me off, haha.
Childhood idol: Fictional, Anakin Skywalker. Non-fictional, Michael Jackson.
Childhood memory: I remember my friends at the boy scouts, paying me in candy to stop singing. Ironic?
Celebrity crush: Oh gee, there's a lot. Emma Watson, Margot Robbie, and Emilia Clarke, must be my top three
Tell me something no one knows about you: Haha, uhm, I have no idea.
Who would you cast to play you in a movie about your life? Probably someone like Heath Ledger, may he rest in peace.
What would the title of that movie be? Something melancholic I think, haha.

What is your guilty pleasure? Shakira's debut album, "Laundry Service", 2001. That's good shit.
If you were a girl for a day, what would you do? Look at my boobs, probably. I wanna say something clever, but come on. All boys would.
Can you recommend us a song (old or new) from a Danish artist? "Whispering At The Top Of My Lungs", by Tim Christensen.
Can you teach me some interesting words in Danish? I like the word "Gavtyv". It's kinda slang for someone who's a bit of a bandit, but in a good way. We use it a lot with kids for example

Hello Kenny! Welcome to the Eurovision universe!
Thanks man!

How would you describe yourself as an artist?
Uhm, well. I see myself as kind of a weird one, cause I'm not a 100% anything. I sing, I act, I play, I write. So I guess I see myself as kind of a low key all rounder type of guy. I just do whatever comes to mind, I like to challenge myself, and try stuff out.

You are one of the participants of DMGP 2020, how did it all begin?
Well, I've done a lot of musicals in DK, and have a pretty solid musical network, and so DR just called me up and asked if I wanted to sing this song for the semi finals, and then it just rolled from there.

"Forget it all" is the title of your song, and it's written by you, Henrik Tala, Mila Falls and Patrick Jean, how was it to work with them?
Those guys are amazing, I mean, they're just so nice and easy to work with. Very open, and creative. Such pleasure!

What’s the story behind the song?

The song is not written with anyone special in mind, it's written about that universal feeling of losing yourself in negative emotions, due to past experiences, and then meeting someone who kind of "resets" you, in a way. Something we all know, I'm sure.

What can we expect to see on stage for the performance?
The stage performance will be mostly about the music and the singing, I'm trying to stay true to myself as a performer, and I kinda like to just let the music speak for itself.

What do you like about Eurovision?
I love the scale, and the way it brings people together across the globe. It's just admirable.

What do you dislike about Eurovision?
If I have to say something, it'll have to be that it has become a "genre" for itself. I mean, you hear a lot about people talking about "Eurovision quality", or thats songs are or are not "Eurovision-sounding". Like some songs, even good ones, are not fit for the contest, because they don't have "that sound".

Natural: Women

What are your plans for 2020?

He is handsome and I like the mysterious vibe around the act but to me this song sounds like a nordic NF reject from 2005.

Meh! To me this sounds like a "winner single" from any talent show. Its just a "let me show you how good I sing and how high can my voice get" kind of song, there's no passion behind it and sadly I bet some juries might end up voting for it like they did with Australia last year (Which was better than this but I think it fits in the same category).

I'll be totally honest, Im glad they won! Their performance was better than the rest of the superfinalists and their song is not bad. Will Denmark win in Sweden again? NO! Will they qualify to the final? I have no idea but I hope they enjoy this experience. Good luck boys!

How would you describe the band?
Meaningful. From day one we wanted to do more than just entertain.

Tell me about the name of the band:
When we started singing together 4 years ago, we were at a place in our lives where we wanted to try to do more than just entertain. We wanted to use our music to start conversations about the things in life that are not always easy. All three of us have different backgrounds and stuff we struggled with as children. So we are spending a lot of time trying to use our experiences to help other people.

You are one of the participants of DMGP 2016. How did it all begin?
We were given an opportunity and we took it :)

“Soldiers of love” is the title of your song, what’s the story behind it?
As I talked about before we are a pop group trying with a DNA that basically is "let's try to make the world a little bit better". And do it with love and music. So we tried to put that in a song.

How would you describe yourself as an artist?
I love singing ballads, but I also like to challenge myself singing other styles like opera, rock, jazz, etc. So basically right now, I enjoy being an artist that you can’t put in a box

This is going to be your 3rd time in DMGP, what did you learn from your past DMGP experiences?
I learned a lot of things! Mostly to be in the present and enjoy the ride. It’s such a huge experience, that you don’t want to miss a second.

You are one of the participants of DMGP 2016. How did it all begin?
Well. I got contacted by DR, and was asked if I wanted to participate with this song. When I heard it for the first time, there was no doubt in my mind. This was the beginning of a new adventure.

“Heart shaped hole” is the title of your song, what’s the story behind it?
Heart Shaped Hole is a strong song about letting go. That the end also means a new beginning, where you are stronger and more alive.

Powerful, unique, breathtaking and international.

What can we expect to see on stage for the performance?
I can´t tell much about the show yet. But it´s going to be spectacular with a lot of effects. :-)

Do you already know what you’re going to wear for the final? Any hint?
I do, but it’s a surprise!

Yes, I´ve heard all the other songs. And I haven’t been able to pick out a favorite, cause I think they all have something special. It´s a strong field this year.

What do you like about Eurovision?
Eurovision is a celebration to music, and that’s what I love the most. Music is so important to all of us, and to create such a beautiful show that we can all enjoy is amazing.

What do you dislike about Eurovision?
I don’t think that I dislike anything about it.

I moved from the Faroe Islands to Denmark in 2012 where I competed in the danish X factor. I got some good contacts through X factor and two months ago I got a call if I would like to try out for the song "Who needs a Heart".

The story behind the song is about how it feels after a bad break-up, which I think a lot of people can relate to. Also I think the song is about going for your dreams, instead of just dreaming and doing nothing about it, where the lyrics says "Im gonna dream wide awake"

Powerful, Touching, Catchy, Unique

What can we expect to see on stage for the performance?
You can expect a powerful performance where I am going to give my all

It’s going to be a very special dress, but it is not finished yet, so I am very excited to see the finished result

What’s your strangest talent? Catching snakes or handling animals like lizards and frogs.
What is the strangest thing you have in your room? I have had so many weird things in my room from pet eels, shrimps, rats, birds, lizards, snakes. So these days I try to be a little normal haha
What are you really good at? Talking (too much) and observing. Cooking, arts, organising.

You won the 3rd season of The Voice Australia, what did you learn from that experience?
To let myself go

You are one of the participants of DMGP 2016. How did it all begin?
Always wanted to do it. Got a call from a publisher in Denmark who needed a singer for 'Never Alone'.

“Never alone” is the title of your song. What’s the story behind it?
It's about people sharing the same experience, it means that when you think you're alone there is always someone who will stand by your side and help you. It's about bringing people together and sings of our power when we are unified. I think it is perfect for Eurovision because it has the essence of what Eurovision is about. 

What can we expect to see on stage for the performance?
Me giving it my best shot! Being myself and having fun!

Do you already know what you’re going to wear for the final? Any hint?
We haven't focused much on the outfit, something simple that don't distract from the performance or the song is our goal.

What do you like about Eurovision?
Seeing everyone come together and show so much pride in their country.

What do you dislike about Eurovision?
When competing in general there are sometimes people that get distracted about wining and become negative towards others or focused on that. I don't really like that.

When did you start singing? When I was 6 I recorded a song and someone found my voice interesting. At 13 I started to take vocal lessons and since then I have made my own music.

Hello! I'm great- how about you guys?

How would you describe yourself as an artist?
Real to who I am. I go my own ways, keeping my own sound and expression. I had to fight in my life to get to follow my ambitions and goals, and you can still hear that fight in my voice.

You are one of the participants of DMGP 2016. How did it all begin?
I was contacted by the songwriterteam of GL music and they asked me for ideas to a song for dmgp. I told them about my life, my ambitions, which sound I should have as an artist and then blue horizon was born., and luckily picked to be in the competition

“Blue horizon” is the title of your song, what’s the story behind it?
It is a song with many layers, both personally but also very common to all people. It tells the story about one putting the past behind and follow that road that leads you to peace in mind. The road that brings you joy and to me that is art and music, I will never stop following that path, because music gives us hope and meaning to our existence

Describe the song with 4 words:
Determination, journey, light in the dark - oh dear too many words for describing this song

What can we expect to see on stage for the performance?
You can expect something a little more different than the usual stage performance with dancers and confetti. We made it present, simple and beautiful. It’s all about contrast. Between chaos and inner peace.

Have you heard any of the other songs in the competition? Any favorite?
Yes I have, they are really great all of them. If I have to choose, I would say 'Simone' with a Heart shaped hole. Though it's very different from what I do.

What do you like about Eurovision?
Everything -especially how it connects culture, languages and nationalities with music

What do you dislike about Eurovision?
What is there to dislike? Does anyone actually ever answer this question?

Guitar: comfort
Fear: holding back
Light: if you look forward
Freedom: if you fight long enough
X factor: charisma
Woods: are my sanctuary
Dreams: are there to follow

What are your plans for 2016?
Let people see what I’ve been working on, and hopefully they will find it unique and worth listening to
