Melodifestivalen 2012 - Deltävling 2: A soldier won the battle

Its time to talk about the semifinal 2 of the Melodifestivalen 2012, i know its a bit late but im kinda tired, i think when the MF is over im going to do a MF rehab. Lets start, i really dont know how to describe this semifinal cause it wasnt horrible but it wasnt great and im just talking about the songs cause there were good performances. At the end of the semifinal there were some surprises but i have to say that i liked a part of the results.

1. Soldiers - Ulrik Munther

Melodi nummer 1 Soldiers, i dont know what to say, i really like the song and i liked more when i watched the performance, he has charisma and a super strong stage presence, i like more his vocals in the live performance than in the studio version and thats good for a tv contest. For me he was the best of this semifinal and im very happy for him cause he got his ticket to the final. Well done Ulrik.

2. Baby Doll - Top Cats

When i watched the rehearsal i kinda hated but then when i heard the full song i started to like a bit. I loved the performance but i dont know if im being objective cause i really like the lead singer, he is so cute hehe but well they did a great performance and im still singing baby doll doll doll rock & roll roll roll so i guess thats a good sign. Good luck to the guys on Andra chansen.

3. I din himmel - Sonja Aldén

I was really excited to see her again on the Melodifestivalen and i was a bit mad on saturday cause she deserved to be in top 5, the performance was stunning and her vocals were perfect. It is such a beautiful song and i love the lyrics, thank you Sonja for this amazing song and performance.

4. Aldrig, aldrig - Andreas Lundstedt

I LOVED this, it was a FABULOUS performance and all the guys on stage were HOT, the song was one of my favorites of the semifinal and i love Andreas, he is so cool, this is going to be one of the songs that will stay on my playlist for a long time. Bravo Andreas!!

5. Stormande hav - Timoteij

In 2010 i liked Kom but they werent my favorites that year, it was too Junior eurovision, this year i was waiting for their song because of the strong team of composers that the song have and when i heard it i was not impressed but i liked. The performance was ok, i think i like the song but i dont like them, they looked cute but they are too bland, it wasnt a strong performance.

6. Shout It Out - David Lindgren

Melodi Nummer 8: To the sky - Danny...ehhmm opps sorry Shout it shout it out! i cant believe this was the 1st song of Danny hehehe i like it but i dont know its too In the club and now he is going to compete against his 1st song thats going to be interesting. Now lets talk about David, he seems to be nice guy but he was really excited and he looked kinda cocky on the moment of the results, but i like him, he is a very good singer and dancer. When i heard the song for the 1st time i liked but it wasnt on my favorites but his performance was so good that he totally deserved his place in the final so congratulations to David and good luck on the final.

7. Det går för långsamt - Mimi Oh

This is a nice and catchy song but the performance wasnt interesting, she is sweet and i wish her all the best in her career.

8. Ge aldrig upp - Thomas Di Leva

Di leva has such nice energy and thats what i like about him, the song was good and so was the performance but i agree with the 5th place.
