New Video: If i could change the world - Esma & Lozano
Here is the official video and apparently the final version of the song that is going to represent Macedonia in Malmö. I prefer the Macedonian version but this one is ok, i still think that they should come back alone cause they both are really good in the kind of music they do but in this duet theres something missing so please i want Esma alone in eurovision!!! I LOVE HER!! GO Esma!! Good luck to Macedonia!!

Emmelie de Forest: " I can’t wait to get on stage in Malmö"
Denmark is one of the biggest favorites of this year and that makes me very happy cause i fell in love with Emmelie and her song since the 1st 30seconds of the song were released before the DMGP final! I would have loved to make an interview with her but she is extremely busy right now with the making of her album and the eurovision promotion but thanks to her press contact i have a little q&a they made with her, so here are the answers of EMMELIE DE FOREST:
How does it feel to be representing Denmark at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest?
It is an honor to represent my country and I am so excited to participate in the biggest European music contest – I can’t wait to get on stage in Malmø.
How do you prepare yourself for Malmø?
I’m spending my time getting into shape and trying to get a good night’s sleep every single night. And other than that, I simply practice, practice, practice. I try not to listen to all the songs I will be competing against – I’m afraid it will make me nervous.
Why do you sing barefooted?
I’ve never really liked singing while wearing high heels or any kind of shoes. Being barefoot makes me feel connected to the ground, and it makes me feel more relaxed.
Who has been your biggest inspiration?
Kurt Cobain is a great source of inspiration to me. I think he is more authentic than any other singer, and you can truly feel every single word he expresses and every single breath of desperation he puts into his songs. I am also inspired by Kate Bush because she is different and I can relate to her lyrics and she has a fantastic voice.
Can you tell us more about your song Only Teardrops?
The song is about love, war and peace. When I first heard the song, I immediately loved it. The song has a dramatic feel to it and I love the sound of the flutes. I hope the song gives people a feeling of hope.
Only Teardrops is currently the bookies’ favourite to win Eurovision this year. How does this make you feel?
I´m really excited. It makes me so happy that people have received my song Only Teardrops so well and I think the song is fantastic. But I also know that there are other great singers in the competition but I hope for the best :)
Are you a fan of the Eurovision Song Contest? And what are your all-time favourite Eurovision entries?
Yes I am a big fan and I have followed the ESC since I was a little girl. I remember many great songs but my all-time favorite song is the Danish song “Dansevisen” from 1963 – I really enjoy listening to that song.
Where were you born and where do you live now?
I was born in Randers, Jutland and grew up in the beautiful town Mariager. It is a small town with around 3000 people. It’s really beautiful with the forest and the sea nearby. I moved to Copenhagen in the summer of 2011 and I really enjoy living here because the city has so much to offer but I sometimes miss the countryside since I love the nature :)
Could you tell us something about your musical background?
I have been singing my entire life and I have gone to a creative school where I used to sing a lot. When I was 14 years old I started touring with a Scottish musician where we performed at different festivals, private parties, bars etc.
What music do you enjoy listening to?
Actually, I listen to all kind of music – it depends on my mood but I really enjoy listening to Kate Bush, rock music and classical music composed by Händel.
Apart from singing, what else do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I love reading books and I also enjoy watching old movies. I enjoy spending time in the nature and I often go for a run in the forest. Besides from that I spend time with my family and friends and enjoy some of the cultural events that Copenhagen has to offer.
What is one of your happiest moments in your life?
It’s always hard to pick one specific memory that marks the happiest moment of your life but I have to say that winning the Danish Song Contest is one of them :)

San Marino 2013: Chrysalis (You'll be flying)
Here is the english version of the song that Valentina is going to sing in May! This version is nice but im glad she is going to sing it in Italian in Eurovision!
Here are the english lyrics:
Sometimes I feel torn inside
Far away from life and light
And there is a voice in my soul
Just believe in the truth it will let you see
The bridges of eternity
Is my being good or bad
Just a dream that god has had
With two eyes reflecting the dark
I must die to start living
And I’ll start forgiving
All that pain and despair in my heart
You’ll be flying
On the wings of confidence
Just stop crying
And the future will make sense
Start emerging from your chrysalis
Find the kind of freedom that you miss
Like a butterfly
Sometimes when the rain pours down
Holds you captured on the ground
And it seems your wings just won’t dry
Times they are changing
The wind blows the clouds of tears away
As you rise to the sky
You’ll be flying
Leaving all you’ve been behind
Don’t stop trying
Don’t let sunlight make you blind
Until the image in the looking glass
Cracks to pieces and at last
You‘ll see the light
There is more in life
Than your dreams have ever known
And our hidden fantasy
Is the universe we own
Flying
On the wings of confidence
No more crying
For uncertainties are friends
You’re emerging from your chrysalis
Real freedom feels like this
Flying to the sky
Flying
And let lovin be your guide
Love’s not lying
For the truth is on its side
Changing everything and everyone
Like a shining new born sun
Only hearts can see
Flying, flying
Flying – fly on with me

I’ve felt like a finger touching a wound that was being cured with a very interesting musical harmony such melody was so similar to the type of songs I sing. “Crisalide” is like a breath of life, an awareness of a new truth to help us face courage, a positive message to recover our selves.... distroying all the walls that doesn’t let us to believe in ourselves. The Beatles used to say “Let it be” and I say “Fly”.

Hello Hannah! How are you?I'm great, thank you!!
How would you describe yourself as an artist?
- house music singer/songwriter
You were selected internally to represent Slovenia, how did it all begin? what was your 1st reaction when they asked you to go to eurovision?
- this year Slovenia ESC committee decided to select someone to represent Slovenia internally. So they selected me out of few other artists they were deciding between. I was of course, elated and excited to be chosen.
"Straight into love" is the title of you song, whats the story behind the song? what made you write it?
- the song is about falling rapidly and passionately into love. I usually write a song that is inspired by the music and when we started coming up with the production ideas for the track, the lyrics came to me in this way.
Photo: Klemen Razinger
Are you going to make a version of the song in another language?- at this time we don't have any plans to write the song in another language.
Describe your song with 4 words
- strong, passionate, up-tempo, dramatic
Photo: Klemen Razinger
The official video of Straight into love is coming out soon, what can you tell me about it?- now that I finally have a moment to do this interview the video is already out ;) Because the song is modern, electronic dance with elements of dub step, we wanted the video to reflect the theme, mood, style and emotions of the song in visual form, so there were ideas to include elements of water, skin, looking through slits of dark and light, while using colors like blue, violet and white lasers, dancers and lovely men. Its definitely a hot video but in an artistic sense.
Lets talk about the performance, what can we expect to see on stage?
- we want the look of the stage to be clean but edgy..not to overwhelm with too many details or kitch. There will be 3 dancers with me and we have started rehearsing. So far, it's really coming together and i'm really excited for it.
Do you already know what are you going to wear for eurovision? can you give us a little hint?
-yes :) it will be strong and sexy!
Have you heard any of songs from Eurovision 2013? Do you like any of them?
- I like the best Norway, Ireland, Montenegro and Sweden.
What do you like about Eurovision?
- that's its a huge festival that brings all the European countries together to share their music, cultures, and expressions which change from year to year, so its fun to see what each country does differently each year.
What do you dislike about Eurovision?
- that sometimes people can forget the above and that it's about having a good time, meeting interesting people, sharing amazing experiences.
Photo: Klemen Razinger
What are your plans for this year?- to go work hard and do the best I can but also remember to have fun!
Is there anything you want to say to close the interview?
- I just want to say I am looking very forward to coming to Malmo and representing Slovenia this year. I can't wait to to be a part this once in a lifetime experience.
Thanks to Hannah!! I wish her all the best for Eurovision! Srečno!!
